Couch and Sofa are both used in the US. It depends on the region as to wich is more popular. I have English parents and grew up in the states. We called it a couch and the Americans around me called it a sofa. Go figure!

Wrong. We never got Brexit. We got a parliament that worked to derail it and a Conservative Party that failed to enact what was promised or optimise the opportunities for global investment and trade. Signing up to net zero has moved our industries, such as steel, to India, and by subsidising 'Clean Energy', peoples energy bills have sky rocketed! These videos are all from the same groups and people who never wanted us to leave.

Firstly, I love Europe as a whole. But I do not like the EU club that has brought in so much law and order that so many members (mainly from the eastern block ) seem to ignore. We all should be reunited as a part of a European continent, but have our own values like laws, culture, currency... but work together to share, trade and travel more easily. Sadly politicians have made a mockery of the EU system and it's now facing being torn apart!

What people missed was many of those NHS millons from the bus we generated by the trade exchange with the rest of EU members. But much like rich individuals, rich countries tend to think they are the sole source of their own wealth.

When I travel around Europe, they spell it center and they say 'You're welcome' all the time. They lean into American vocabulary a lot, but they don't imitate the American accent which is the worst thing about AE.

In July, the UK signed up to the vast Indo-Pacific trade group, bolstering its combined GDP to £12 trillion in 2022 - a huge 15% of the global economy. Under the deal, over 99% of current UK goods exports to CPTPP countries will be eligible for zero tariffs, including Scotch whisky and cars.20 Mar 2024 Snipet from Google, but if I voted 'Remain' , then I'm not likely to want to know
